This guy is incredible, home made/hacked electronic toy instruments which he introduces in the rest of his youtube videos and pretty amazing freaky music. He’s got some of his older stuff on spotify as well which is more straight forward indie stuff with ample ukelele and is pretty great.

Here’s the result of my latest fiddlings with recording stuff, It’s called Something Sinister and is kind of like Serge Gainsbourg meets HP Lovecraft. It’s my most best and most complex recording to date, plus my first foray into spoken word, watch out Bill Shatner.

or in other words I’ve been experimenting with drum machines and put a simple beat to an old punky song of mine. please excuse the shite quality, computer has been playing up, for some reason it ate a few beats. also the guitar solo is shite but the magic just wasnt coming and I couldnt be bothered to do it again, you get the jist of what I wanted to do.

This song made me smile. Then I realised it sounded like Morph singing. Then it made me smile more.

Why I Quit Touring with the Black Eyed Peas

For a while now I’ve been under the impression that the Black Eyed Peas represent the downfall of society and in particular that the song “I’ve got a feeling,” is like a musical version of Soma, with our kids consuming it blindly by the bucketload dragging them further and further into a numbing compliance to a hollow society. I’m not writing ironically, nor am I trying to use hyperbole for comic effect. I abhor this band and their music. They are Non-Rock of the highest degree.

So, one evenings dicking about with recording software and multitrack stuff yielded this. A cautionary tale about the dangers of the butterfly effect. I call it Time Travel Boogie.
